Fire!

Have you ever woken up to the smell of smoke and the voice of a loud speaker? Have you ever looked outside and saw a airy glow on the hills behind you?

This is what the Thomas Family woke up to on October 13, 2008 at 5 o' clock in the morning. Given only ten minuets they collected anything valuable and throwing it in a heap in several different suitcases. This brings up a question, what would you save if only you were given ten minuets to pack? We brought photo albums, laptops, cloths, animals, blankets, and cello. The next day we got to return home and the hills were transformed into black hills and the air reeked with smoke and it was raining ash because of the winds. But it was home and we were glad!!!!!!
